Become a SEO Executive
As our SEO Executive, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering our organic search activity across content, onsite and some digital PR and technical. As part of our digital marketing team, reporting to the Search Manager, you will be responsible for the execution, optimisation of all onsite content and pages to grow both brand and non-brand visibility and conversion. You will keep ahead of developments in the market to ensure that we innovate and execute best practices to enhance our visibility across Google and Bing and deliver performance. You will be creative and detail-orientated planning and creating high-quality, search-optimised content that ranks, engages, and converts, all while aligning with our brand tone of voice, building brand fame, and growing our business.
You will have an eye for accuracy and detail when dealing with data, ensuring we are measuring and reporting our performance metrics effectively. You will collaborate with other teams and departments to share insights on market search trends, and ensure all campaigns align with wider marketing plans.
Your Mission
- Keyword research and analysis: Support the Search Manager in conducting keyword research frequently using SEO tools, identifying high/low volume traffic opportunities for content targeting customer growth. Along with keyword mapping, using data and insights to improve all landing pages onsite, blog, social platforms and PPC campaigns.
- On-page optimisation: Co-ordinate on-page optimisations, collaborating with wider digital and ecommerce teams, regularly optimising metas, titles, URLs and internal linking for improved visibility in the SERP. Along with continuously improving keyword placement and formatting across all web.
- Monitor rankings: Ongoing monitoring of SEO rankings, identifying target keywords and making recommendations to content, copy and internal linking to improve.
- SEO Content: Support on planning and optimisation of blog content in conjunction with brand team who lead the blog, along with product/category pages, informational content, FAQs and store listings both onsite and Google. Support creation of an SEO driven content calendar to grow brand visibility and sales, working collaboratively with brand teams to upload SEO-targeted content both onsite and organic social platforms (FB, IG, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube). Frequent tracking to ensure improved rankings and growth of customer acquisition in line with competitor analysis.
- Offpage SEO and link building: Analyse backlinks and competitor benchmarking, out-reaching to websites for backlinks.
- Local SEO: Improve the business visibility and brand fame offline across Google SERP space and optimise store listings both on-site and GBP ensuring consistent updates/improvements are implemented including keyword targeting and market trend analysis.
- Technical SEO: Monitor site health frequently using tools and identifying issues and resolving to maintain positive crawl budget.
- Reporting and analysis: Reporting performance against KPI’s, completing reports to be shared within the business, and frequently make data-driven recommendations to improve all site rankings and metrics to wider teams.
- Market and trends insight: Monitor search trends, including category and product level insight, to inform planning and execution, and share with the wider business to build knowledge and inform action, as well as integrate all team efforts with PPC executive for a unified search team approach to identify opportunities to reduce reliance for efficiencies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with digital marketing colleagues to ensure all plans align and comms are consistent through channels, including with wider digital trading & e-commerce teams on product priorities and launches, landing pages and content, with brand marketing teams on wider campaign plans and creative content, buying and merchandising teams for future insights and opportunities and developers for technical implementations.
